Attention Commerce High School Athletes and Parents –
We were unable to hold our annual athletics banquet due to the COVID-19 shutdown. As a replacement event, Jim and Beverly Haynes will be hosting an Athletics Picnic on Tuesday, June 23rd at 6:30 pm on the parking lot behind the High School Gym. Athletes will be provided a free meal and coaches will be giving out team and individual awards. We do not have a speaker for this event this year, we just wanted to get back together one last time to remember the great seasons from the 2019-2020 school year and present all athletes their awards. The picnic is being catered by Pig Dig BBQ and they will be serving a sandwich, chips, beans, cake and a drink. Parents/guardians are also invited but will need to pay $7.00 for their meal.
Dress will not be formal as in the past, but we are asking that everyone wear their favorite Commerce Tigers T-Shirt to the event. We also ask that you bring your own lawn chairs and set them up with proper social distancing from others. If you would like shade, please feel free to bring an umbrella or canopy.
