Attention All Commerce Students: The OSSAA dead period policy will be in effect beginning today, Saturday, June 26 through Sunday, July 4. Commerce students are NOT allowed to use any of the CPS athletic facilities during this time for any reason! This is a policy set by the OSSAA and it must be followed. As this wonderful school year draws to a close, Alexander Elementary would like to congratulate the May Students of the Month. First is Gabby Churchill from Mrs. Haye's first grade class. Gabby's mother is Tara Churchill. Next is Kex Rodriguez from Mrs. Moore's second grade class. Kex's parents are America Zuniga and Jose Rodriguez. CMS Promotion and CHS Graduation are both being moved inside the high school gym due to wet weather. CMS Promotion will be at 6:30 pm on Friday May 21st. The doors will open at 6:00 pm. CHS Graduation will be at 4:00 pm on Sunday May 23rd. The doors will open at 3:30 pm. Masks are recommended and families are asked to set in their family groups as much as possible. Each graduate and 8th grader will be given tickets for their families and tickets will be required for admittance. Tickets are per event and one ticket will not admit you to both events. Both events will be live-streamed on the Commerce Public Schools Facebook page for those interested, but unable to attend.

Commerce High School is proud to announce Ty Jauert as one of our  2021 Co-Valedictorians.  Ty is the son of Josh & Jennifer Jauert.  Grandparents are Jim & Beverly Haynes and Jan Jauert and Gene Jauert. Ty has maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA.  Ty has participated in the Native American Club, FCA, NHS, and attends Commerce First Assembly. He is an All Star by Class Football Player, Conference MVP Basketball Player,  3-Time All District and an All-Stat Soccer, and State Track Meet Qualifier plus a 6th Place State Track Medal Winner. Ty plans to pursue a PTA degree at NEO and spend his days with Rachel Garza.

Commerce High School is proud to announce Marisa Scott as one of our  2021 Co-Valedictorians. Marisa is the daughter of Amanda Marshall & Jeremy Caudill and Kevin Scott. Marisa has maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA. Marisa has participated as Student Council President, Class President, Science Club, SADD, Cheer, Basketball and Softball. She is an Academic Cheer Team State Champion, Basketball All-Conference All Star, Softball All-District and All-Region.  She has received an Academic Scholarship to OU and a Valedictorian Scholarship. Marisa plans to attend OU to major in Psychology and eventually go to med school to be a psychiatrist.
