Dear Students and Parents, I know we are in trying times and the uncertainty is making us anxious. The staff is working this week preparing for distance learning. Teachers will be reaching out to make contact with families later in the week. Distance learning will begin next Monday, April 6, 2020 and continue through the end of the school year on May 8, 2020. At this time the Jr.-Sr. Prom has been rescheduled for May 15, 2020. Alternate plans for graduation are under discussion. Please feel free to contact us as needed. Oklahoma State Testing Study Guides Now Available - The state of Oklahoma has released their state testing study guides. We have posted all of the study guides to our website here - http://commerceok.apptegy.us/o/cps/page/oklahoma-state-testing-study-guides Parents, your students will benefit from you going over these guides with them. You can also read and follow instructions to get access to your child's state testing scores online.

CMS Baseball games have been moved to McDonald County for this evening. The games are moved because all of the local fields are too wet to play. We will play vs Wyandotte at 5:00 pm and vs McDonald County at 7:00 pm.

I am reminding you that there will be no school in Commerce tomorrow, Friday, March 13, 2020 due to a Professional Development Day. Next week school will be out for Spring Break. Please have a safe and healthy Spring Break! Thank you!

Alexander Elementary's Students of the Month for February are Daniel Ramirez and Jaylyn Alejandro. Daniel is in Mrs. Moore's second grade class and his parents are Jose "Reyes" Ramirez and Ciarra Millard. Jaylyn Alejandro is in Mrs. Earll's third grade class. Her parents are Clarissa and Angel Alejandro. Congratulations to both of these outstanding students!
