We would like to congratulate our AES classroom spelling bee winners...Jace Fenderson, Alister Myers, Marshall Webb, Oakley Hanson, Gabby Churchill, and Daniel Roshto. Oakley Hanson won our school spelling bee and will represent AES at the Joplin Globe Spelling Bee in March!

Alexander Elementary is proud to recognize our 1st Semester Honor Roll students. Congratulations on your hard work and dedication!
In consideration of early morning extreme temperatures and unsafe road conditions, Commerce Schools will be transitioning to distance learning tomorrow, January 17th, 2024.
The safety of our students and staff is our top priority, and we believe this decision will help ensure everyone's well-being. All 6-12 grade students are expected to participate in online classes and visit google classroom for each course to get their daily lessons. Elementary students were given paper packets earlier and need to complete Day 1 of that packet tomorrow. Teachers will provide instructions and support through virtual platforms and can be emailed if needed.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during these challenging weather conditions. Stay warm, stay safe, and let's make the most out of our virtual learning day.
We will see everyone back in school on Thursday, January 18th.
