In consideration of early morning extreme temperatures and unsafe road conditions, Commerce Schools will be transitioning to distance learning tomorrow, January 17th, 2024. The safety of our students and staff is our top priority, and we believe this decision will help ensure everyone's well-being. All 6-12 grade students are expected to participate in online classes and visit google classroom for each course to get their daily lessons. Elementary students were given paper packets earlier and need to complete Day 1 of that packet tomorrow. Teachers will provide instructions and support through virtual platforms and can be emailed if needed. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during these challenging weather conditions. Stay warm, stay safe, and let's make the most out of our virtual learning day. We will see everyone back in school on Thursday, January 18th.

SNOW PACKET Hello Parents/Guardians, This week snow packets will be coming home in case school is canceled for weather and the announcement says that it will be a virtual day. The packet includes work for five days. Each day has a set of instructions and papers to complete. If school is canceled and it is a virtual day, your child’s teacher will communicate through Remind, Dojo, or text to remind you what work needs to be completed. Students should complete the work for that day. The work must be completed and returned to school or the student will be given an unexcused absence. I recommend this folder be kept in a safe place (top of refrigerator, sock drawer). By creating this packet, students will complete work at home and we will not have to make up the day. If school is closed and they announce it as a true snow day, no work will need to be done that day.
