Superintendent Statement

Commerce Community - All 3 of our safe rooms are open now. Please remember pets are not allowed as per school board policy. We have a shelter at all 3 of our school sites. The High School shelter is located south of the main high school building. The easiest access is to park behind the high school gym and walk west between the buildings. The Middle School shelter is on the corner of Commerce Street and Cherry Street. The Elementary School shelter is located on the west side of the campus. Please stay weather-aware and take advantage of our community shelters if needed.
Stay Safe Tigers!

Dear Commerce Families,
Due to the potential for severe storms this afternoon, we will be dismissing students early to ensure their safety. Alexander Elementary School bus riders will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m., and all other AES, CMS, and CHS students will be dismissed at 12:35 p.m.
We encourage everyone to monitor weather updates closely. Please remember that our community storm shelters are available and open to the public for anyone needing a safe place during the storm. The safety of our students, staff, and community members is our top priority.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work to keep everyone safe.
Stay safe,
Steve Moss
