Commerce Public Schools would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Quapaw Nation Marshal Service and the Quapaw Nation Emergency Management Service for hosting 36 of our students today for their Shop With a Cop program. The morning started off in our high school cafeteria, where our wonderful high school cooks served breakfast to all the kids at 8 AM. After shopping at Walmart with the officers, the students will return to school, and some of our own students will help wrap the gifts. Finally, our school resource officer, Marshall, will be delivering the presents to each child’s home, acting as our own Quapaw Marshal Santa Claus. It’s a fantastic event, and we are so thankful for all who made it possible!
