Seniors: Bring your panel picture proof back to Mrs. Rhodes by November 12, and remember to pay Mrs. Ng your $10 for the panel. Retakes will be on November 14. Also, bring or email a baby picture and 2-3 flashback pictures to Mrs. Rhodes before Christmas Break. If you would like a senior picture other than your panel picture in the yearbook, Mrs. Rhodes will need that as soon as possible, but no later than March 29.
If your parents want to place a Senior Salute ad in the yearbook, ask them to contact Mrs. Rhodes. (srhodes@commercetigers.net). A quarter-page ad is $60, and a half-page ad is $90. The deadline for Senior Salute ads will be March 29.

Thank you to Miss Oklahoma, Sunny Day, for visiting with our CMS and CHS students today about the importance of staying away from drugs and alcohol. Miss Oklahoma also shared the story of her childhood and how she experienced bullying. She relayed the importance of being kind to others as well as making sure to tell adults if you witness someone being bullied.

The 3A District 8 Academic Team District Tournament took place on October 9th. The Commerce High School team went 2-0 and won the district championship. Commerce beat Quapaw and Wyandotte during the competition. Commerce finished first, Quapaw 2nd, and Wyandotte third.
Sheridan Bailey and Noah Schmidt are co-captains of the academic team. Both have been three-year members of the team. The following students are also members of the championship team: Daniel Aguilera, Anya Barnstead, Sheridan Bailey, Desarae Dixon, Mykahl Dunn, Kyle Frantz, Kyleigh Hart, Chrysanna Harter, Dominic Harter, Abygail Jennings, Elijah Lee, Antonio Medina, Larisa Myrick, and Noah Schmidt.

Gameday at Commerce High School!
TIGER CHEER CAMP practice for halftime this Friday night will be held at the middle school gym tonight due to wet field conditions. It starts at 5 PM!
Attention Tiger Cheer Camp Participants!
Tiger Cheer Campers will be performing their camp dance at halftime of the high school football game vs. Colcord this Friday night!
We will be hosting a practice on Thursday at 5PM at the high school football field. Please make plans to attend (If rainy or muddy, practice will be moved to the middle school gym).
For Friday’s game, we ask that campers wear their camp t shirt with shorts or sweat pants and tennis shoes. The game starts at 7PM. Please plan to be there no later than 7:30. Campers will get in to the game free with their camp T-shirt (campers only). We will make an announcement over the PA system when it is time to report to the track.

School Photo Day is tomorrow, October 3rd. Reminder, all school photos will be taken at all school sites tomorrow. Senior panel pictures will also be taken at CHS.
This Wednesday, October 4, 2023, will be our second Way 2 Go Wednesday. Students with 1 or fewer absences in the previous month and All A's and B's qualify for the OPTION of doing their work virtually on the first Wednesday of each month. Middle School Students who qualified for October will receive a note to take home to parents. High school students will receive an email from the office that they can show their parents for verification. If you have any questions, please call your school's office.
