Alexander Elementary School is currently without water and sewer services. We are going to have to move the AES open house from tonight to Wednesday night. The new time for AES open house will be Wednesday, August 16th from 5-6pm.
Schedule of Events
Ottawa County crews are working on our bus/parking area in front of Alexander Elementary School. The hope is they are finished before our first day of school. If there are complications we will pivot and send instructions for drop off prior to the first day. Commerce Schools is extremely thankful to our county commissioners and county road crew for doing this project for our school.

A Special Meeting for the Commere Gifted and Talented program has been called for August 29, 2023 at 6:30 pm. The meeting is open to the public.
2023-2024 Meal Prices Set
The Meal Prices for the 2023-2024 school year were approved at the July 10, 2023 board meeting. Please make certain to complete your free/reduced application online at our website or while completing your enrollment forms.
Commerce Schools will have a scheduled network outage from 07/11/23 through 07/14/23 for upgrade to our existing infrastructure. Our phones and internet will be down. You may still access powerschool for enrollment during this time.

Elementary Track Meet - After the rain out today we are planning on moving the track meet running events for 3rd through 5th grade to Monday, May 8th. We are watching the weather for Monday and will put the start time out Sunday evening based on the forecast.
Commerce Students - Onyx McCarthy, Mykahl Dunn, Alexis Riggs-Austin, Sophie Olds, Noah Schmidt, Bailey Arnold, Emilia Prado, Sheridan Bailey were given the honor to perform in the 2023 4-state honor band. Tonight's performance can be watched at 7 pm at the link below.
