After our fourth full week of in-person instruction we currently have the following COVID-19 positive cases.
AES - 12 Students and 1 Staff
CMS- 2 Students
CHS - 6 Students and 2 Staff Members
All who came into close contact have been notified. 28 opted for quarantine.


Commerce Families,
After numerous phone calls, I feel it is important to clarify the current mask situation at our schools. We do not currently have a mask mandate. Students and staff are encouraged to wear a mask, but they are not required at this time.

As you may have known, District Judge Natalie Mai ruled in favor of the Oklahoma State Medical Association and a group of parents suing to overturn SB658 which blocked mask mandates. We are awaiting further guidance from school attorneys but please know that, when the law allows, Commerce Schools will always err on the side of caution when it comes to the health of our students and staff.

Commerce Middle School's Softball won the Lucky 7 Conference Tournament! The girls beat Welch 12-0, Ketchum 10-0 & Fairland 6-0 in pool play!
Today they played Wyandotte in the championship and won 8-0. Great job Lady Tigers!

Commerce Public Schools will be offering free lunches to all students for the 2021-2022 school year but we need you to complete the forms above for us to be able to provide this service to all students. If you do not want to complete your form online, paper applications are available at each school. Please assist us in getting these completed for all students.

CMS schedules will be available for pickup at the following times:
8th Grade: August 5th, 9 am to 12 pm
7th Grade: August 5th, 1 pm to 3 pm
6th Grade and New Students: August 6th, 9 am to 12 pm.
These times will also serve as our informal open house for you to tour the building and meet staff members.

Drug tests for all extra-curricular students will be Tuesday, August 3rd in the CHS gym. Drug tests for the girls will be from 9:00-10:30 that morning and the boys will be from 10:30-12:00. The drug test cost is $10.00 per person and is required to participate in an extra-curricular activity.
