Attention All Commerce Students:
The OSSAA dead period policy will be in effect beginning today, Saturday, June 26 through Sunday, July 4. Commerce students are NOT allowed to use any of the CPS athletic facilities during this time for any reason! This is a policy set by the OSSAA and it must be followed.
Enjoy your break and have a happy and safe 4th of July!


OUT WITH THE OLD, IN WITH THE NEW! One of the summer projects we're really excited about is the replacement of every smartboard in EVERY classroom with a new 75" Viewsonic Viewboard interactive display. This technology upgrade will benefit our teachers and student greatly!





21st Century Summer program hosted family night on June 21st at 6pm. Mad Science out of Oklahoma City gave our students an opportunity to learn about science and participate in fun, hands-on learning activities.


Commerce Public Schools would like to congratulate our support personnel of the year. They were selected by the staff at each site to be honored for their superior work. They are all highly valued team members. Superintendent Jim Haynes presented each with a plaque and they were recognized at the June School Board Meeting.

As this wonderful school year draws to a close, Alexander Elementary would like to congratulate the May Students of the Month. First is Gabby Churchill from Mrs. Haye's first grade class. Gabby's mother is Tara Churchill. Next is Kex Rodriguez from Mrs. Moore's second grade class. Kex's parents are America Zuniga and Jose Rodriguez. Our final virtual student of the year is Alyssa Welday. Alyssa is in Ms. Hank's virtual class. Her parents are April Hogan and Justin Welday. Thank you for all your hard work this year!

Aislyn flies out for Fort Jackson in South Carolina on Tuesday, June 1st. CHS is proud of her commitment to enlist and serve our country. Graduation Update!
The seating capacity restrictions have been removed for promotion and graduation. No tickets will be required. Masks are highly recommended.

CMS Promotion and CHS Graduation are both being moved inside the high school gym due to wet weather.
CMS Promotion will be at 6:30 pm on Friday May 21st. The doors will open at 6:00 pm.
CHS Graduation will be at 4:00 pm on Sunday May 23rd. The doors will open at 3:30 pm.
Masks are recommended and families are asked to set in their family groups as much as possible. Each graduate and 8th grader will be given tickets for their families and tickets will be required for admittance. Tickets are per event and one ticket will not admit you to both events.
Both events will be live-streamed on the Commerce Public Schools Facebook page for those interested, but unable to attend.
