Parents - All returning students have to be re-enrolled in Commerce Schools yearly. This year we've moved all enrollment forms inside of your powerschool login for your ease. Please log in to your parent account and select forms on the left. There are 9 online forms to complete for returning students. It should take you less then 10 minutes to complete the forms. Please complete the enrollment forms for all of your students in your parent login. If you login and the screen looks like the picture attached you need to complete the forms for that student. Blue Leaves = You need to complete this form Green or Yellow Leaves = You have completed that form. If you do not have your parent login simply email enrollment@commercetigers.net and we'll provide you with your login credentials. Commerce Middle School CHEER TRYOUTS will be Monday, July 6th at the Alexander Elementary Gym. The tryouts will start at 10 am.

https://forms.gle/Lo1ZNYvcdbWevPzy5 Beginning July 1 we will have 2 pickup days for free breakfast and lunch available at Alexander Elementary School from 10:45 am - 12 PM. The pickup days will be Monday and Wednesday weekly. On Monday students will receive Monday and Tuesday's food. On Wednesday students will receive Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday's food. We need to have a count for how many meals to make each day. If you plan on picking up please complete this survey.

GRADUATION DATES AND TIMES SET! High School Graduation will be 8 pm on Sunday, June 28th. Middle School Graduation will be 8 pm on Friday, June 26th. The home bleachers will be the stage for our graduates. Family and guests will sit on the football field and need to bring their own lawn chairs for seating and social distancing. We will ask that families sit in family groups and social distance from other families as much as possible. The visitors bleachers will also be available for your use if you would prefer not to bring a lawn chair.

6-12th grade summer workouts begin June 1st. Girls 9-11, Boys 10-12. Please be prepared to follow the guidelines posted on our website under Live Feed.

Oklahoma’s Promise: ALERT for 10th-Grade Parents with Recent Income Loss https://www.okhighered.org/okpromise/ If your student is or was in the 10th grade during the 2019-20 school year and you anticipate that your 2020 income may be under the $55,000 application limit for the Oklahoma’s Promise scholarship due to recent reductions in your income, you may submit an application based on your 2020 estimated income. The application must be submitted prior to the June 30, 2020 deadline at https://secure.okcollegestart.org/applications/Oklahoma_Promise/apply.html?application_id=3544. You will be required to provide a copy of your 2020 federal tax return when completed to verify that your 2020 income was under $55,000. The application will be held as pending until the tax documentation is received. Please send any questions to okpromise@osrhe.edu.

REMINDER - Mandatory School Property Return (Including Chromebooks) and Personal Property Pickup All CPS property including Chromebooks, chargers, library books, textbooks, and activity equipment must be returned. The replacement fees for a Chromebook charger is $25 and Chromebook is $200. These replacement fees can be paid during our drop off days. The district will have a drop off setup to return Chromebooks at CMS and CHS and any other school property. AES will have cafeteria windows open and labeled to turn in school property and receive personal property. We will ask that you return school property and then move to the separate lines to pick up personal property including grade cards and award certificates. All athletic equipment will be returned to the back door of the coaches office. Coaches will be available to check your gear in. Track fundraiser apparel will be available for pickup in the coaches office as well. DATES AND TIME: May 19th from 10am - 6pm & May 20 from 10am - 2pm

I am reminding everyone, even though school is out for the summer, we are still serving meals at the same times and locations.

Commerce Lunch Bills - All Lunch bills can be paid at the Superintendent's office from 8am-12pm on Monday through Friday.

Parents and Guardians - 2020-2021 Course Requests are now available in PowerSchool for all 5th-11th grade students. Please assist us in getting your students course requests put in as soon as possible. Don't let your student wait and miss out on the electives that fill up first. Thank you for your assistance.

Commerce Schools have set two sets of possible dates for HS Prom, MS Promotion and HS Graduation. It is our sincere hope to have these events on one of the below scheduled dates. The first dates are June 25, 2020 - Prom - Rustic Oaks - 7:00 pm June 26, 2020 - 8th Grade Promotion @ CHS - 6:30pm June 28, 2020 - HS Graduation @ CHS - 4:00pm The second dates are July 16, 2020 - Prom - Rustic Oaks - 7:00 pm July 17, 2020 - 8th Grade Promotion @ CHS - 6:30pm July 19, 2020 - HS Graduation @ CHS - 4:00pm These dates are pending subject to our social distancing directives from the government. If social distancing is not allowing these events by June 11th, 2020 we will move to the July dates.

Commerce Schools is reminding parents and students of our virtual office hours service. We're adjusting teacher open office hours this week. All teachers will be available every morning from 10am-Noon, for video conference and other times by appointment. If you have a question or would like to speak with a teacher please use this available service. Your students have the link to every teacher in a document in their Google Drive. The Commerce Public School Storm Shelters “WILL” be opened in the event of an imminent threat, such as an issued call to shelter under a tornado/severe storm warning. While utilizing our shelters, existing CDC protocol for the COVID-19 pandemic should be exercised as possible.

Yearbooks are on sale for $35 until May 8. You can order online by going to yearbookforever.com or you can mail a check to the central office, 500 Commerce Street, and writing attention: yearbook on the envelope. Also, senior tribute ads can be purchased for $60 or $90 by contacting Mrs. Rhodes at srhodes@commercetigers.net.
