Congratulations to March's marvelous Students of the Month at Alexander Elementary. On the left is Draven Tagg-Pattengill who is in Mrs. Wall's kindergarten class. Draven's mom is Bobbie Tagg. Next to Draven is Izabella Moss. She is in Mrs. McWhorter's first grade class . Izabella's mom is Brandi Moss. We are so proud of you both!

Weather cancellation - Due to the threat of continued inclement weather, Commerce Public Schools will be canceled Thursday, February 24th. This will be a snow day and NOT A VIRTUAL INSTRUCTION DAY. This is our last built in snow day for the 2021-2022 school calendar. We will be forced to move to virtual or add days on if any more weather issues arise. Please stay safe and warm. We hope to see students in school on Friday, February 25th.

I am sad to report that due to the threat of inclement weather, Commerce Public Schools will be canceled February 23, 2022. This will be a snow day and NOT A VIRTUAL INSTRUCTION DAY. Parent-Teacher conferences are still on for this evening from 3:30-6:30 and we hope to see all parents there.

Hello Parents/Guardians, Our Spring Red Wheel Fundraiser ends this Friday, February 25th. For every 5 items a student sells, they will have a chance to win a Razor Power Core E90 (electric scooter). We would like to give a great big thank you to J-M Farms for donating "Magic Reading Blankets" to every 1st grader at Alexander Elementary! Their generosity put big smiles on the faces of our students!

Thanks to donations from The Kaleo Foundation of Oklahoma City, OK through Commerce First Baptist Church, Club Comet was able to treat all the students of Alexander Elementary School with a goody bag. Each bag contained snacks, drinks, and toys. We were blessed with many smiles and squeals of delight as the students received their bags. Thank you to Steve Patterson and Tim Osborn for thinking of us and being such a blessing!!
