With COVID-19 increasing its presence in our community, we would like everyone to know about the steps we are taking at our schools to address the situation. Please be assured that our top priority is to maintain a safe environment for our staff and students. We are increasing our daily disinfecting of frequently-touched surfaces – including doorknobs, handrails, restroom faucets, tables, desks, cafeterias and commonly handled areas. All classes have hand sanitizer available and it is also available in our school hallways and commons areas. We continue to use the classroom air purifiers and have replaced filters in all that have needed replaced. We are asking you, parents, to please keep any child(ren) not feeling well home for their safety and the safety of others. We will call you to pick up your child if they are displaying symptoms. Our classes are currently working in a blended learning capacity with students at home continuing to work through Google Classroom and Google Meets. This new variant is very contagious, as we learned last week when we had to transition to virtual. We continue to HIGHLY encourage masks and hope that they help us stay in person during this current spike in infections. Together we can keep our schools healthy and safe. Thank you for your assistance.
