TEACHER REQUESTS
For the ’22-’23 school year, we are limiting the amount of teacher requests to 10 per teacher. We will also be asking for a 1st request and a 2nd request, in case the class has reached its limit. The reason to limit the amount of requests is to help balance classes using various data. Forms will be available at AES on Jan. 4th @ 7:30am… doors open earlier.

Parents and Guardians -
This letter and a consent form will be sent home with your child this week. We are extremely pleased to have a licensed nurse available for our students and staff full time. We hope that the free testing available at our schools will allow you to feel more comfort that your children are learning in a safe environment.

Hello Parents/Guardians,
We have two new employees we would like to introduce to you. Amie Mayfield is our new district nurse and Gay O'Neal is a new special education teacher.
Amie Mayfield is an 89 graduate of Miami High School. She has been a Registered Nurse for 28 years , working most recently with the Community Health Center of Northeast Oklahoma. She has been married for 19 years with 3 children. Amie enjoys watching her kids play sports , traveling and is a HUGE OU fan.
Gay O'Neal started teaching at AES in 1988. She has taught 3rd grade for nine years, then 4th grade for twelve years, and then retired in 2009. Mrs. O'Neal has a daughter and 3 grandchildren she is extremely proud of. Mrs. O'Neal is happy to be back at AES helping students.

The phone lines are back up at Alexander Elementary School.

The phone lines are down at Alexander Elementary School this morning. Repair is on the way and we should hopefully be back up soon.

Reminder - Tomorrow, November 16th is picture retake day for all Commerce Schools. CHS will also have club and officer pictures.

Hello Parents/Guardians, It's going to be too wet/cold/windy to have the parade back around the ball field tomorrow (Friday), so.....we will have parents gather in the gym and classes will come over one at a time, circle the gym, and stop for a group photo. We'll start at 1:30 pm and should last around 30 minutes. There will also be a Google meets link (web cam) posted on the "Alexander Elementary PFC Official Group" Facebook page. Thank you.

Hello Parents/Guardians,
We will have a Halloween Parade this Friday @ 1:30pm behind the elementary school. The road to the back baseball field will be closed, so please park in front and walk to the baseball field. The side gates, on the east and west sides of the main building will be unlocked and open (Please see the attached map). Also, no parents at the parties please. Thank you.

CPS Families - This is our last push for free/reduced lunch applications. We have to have free/reduced lunch applications completed by all parents. If you have not completed one, please take the time to do it at the link above. The results of these forms determines school funding and it is extremely important that we have them on file. Thank you!
