4th–12th Grade Parents, we need your help. We’ve completed just 12 days of school and have already had 40 Chromebook insurance claims. As a reminder, the first break is covered by the $25 insurance fee, but any additional claims require payment. At an average of 3.33 Chromebook breaks per day, this is not sustainable. Please help us by stressing the importance of proper Chromebook care with your student. A little extra attention at home goes a long way in keeping devices working and costs down for families and the district. Thank you for your support!

🎣 Outdoor Oklahoma Class Update!

Our new high school Outdoor Oklahoma class is off to a great start! Today our students practiced their fishing skills at the Commerce city pond — the first step in a yearlong journey of outdoor learning.

This class will give students hands-on experience in:
Fishing, campfire cooking, archery
Shelter building, knots, orienteering, first aid & weather safety
Wildlife tracking, conservation projects
Drone operation & certification

We’re proud to offer opportunities that connect our students to the outdoors while building lifelong skills. 🌎🐅

Hello AES parents,
We are finishing our first full week. It is great to see all your kiddos. A couple things to remember. Free breakfast and lunch for all students. Breakfast does stop at 7:50. Students need to be in class by 8:05. Arriving after 8:05 will result in a tardy. Our policy is after the 3rd tardy the student receives a detention. The gym doors close at 8:05. So let’s get their day started off right with a free breakfast and on time arrivals. Thank you parents for entrusting us with your children. We cherish all of them.

School Breakfast
🍽️ Free Meals for All Students This Year

We know a few parents are still receiving texts or emails from our new student information system saying they have a “low lunch balance.” The issue is on the software side with TeacherEase, and their programmers are aware of the problem and working on a fix.

✅ The important part: Every student at Commerce Public Schools receives one free breakfast and one free lunch every school day.

We encourage all parents to make sure their students take advantage of this opportunity. A healthy breakfast and lunch, at zero cost to families, gives our kids the fuel they need to learn and succeed.

We are sorry for the inconvenience and apologize for the confusion these notices may have caused, and we appreciate your patience while TeacherEase corrects the issue.

Let’s make sure every child starts the day with a full stomach and a clear mind — it’s free, it’s healthy, and it’s good for our kids! 💙🐯

Something new at CMS for the 2025–26 school year. This year, every member of our staff and student body signed a tiger paw that is being displayed in the trophy case at the front of the building. We want every person to know this is the place they belong. It's a great day and a great year to be a Tiger. #Sweepstakes #FN5GL @commerce_public_schools @TMobil

First day of school ✔️ and our bell-to-bell, no-cell rule was in full effect. At lunch, instead of the usual ‘downward phone stare,’ we saw… actual conversations! Smiles! Laughter! Eye contact! 📣 Change isn’t always easy, but today it was worth it—less distraction in class and more connection with each other. Great job, Tigers—let’s keep it rolling!

🎉 It’s Finally Here – The First Day of School is TOMORROW! 🎉

We can’t wait to see all our amazing students back in the halls! 💙🐯

📍 High School students – start your day at the High School
📍 Middle School students – start your day at the Middle School

🚍 Heads up! The Boys & Girls Club will not be open tomorrow, so there will be no bus service to the club. The club opens Thursday, and we’ll begin transportation then.

Let’s make this year the best one yet – we’re ready, we’re excited, and we LOVE having our kids back! 💙📚 #CommerceTigers #BackToSchool
