You are invited to help us recognize and congratulate our Seniors this coming Sunday afternoon. Since we have had to postpone your “Traditional Graduation” until June 28th, we would like to honor our Seniors by having a Senior Parade beginning at the High School this Sunday, May 3, at 4:00 p.m. This was the scheduled date and time for our postponed graduation ceremony.
The Senior Parade will leave the High School shortly after 4:00 p.m. and follow the following route.
Parade Path (led by the Commerce Fire/Police Departments):
1. Starting at Commerce High School traveling East on Doug Furnas Blvd.,
2. Turn left/North on Mickey Mantle Blvd.,
3. Turn left/West on 6th Street to pass by Alexander Elementary School,
4. Turn left/South on Main Street,
5. Turn left/East on Commerce Street,
Seniors will be announced as they pass by the Superintendent’s Office on Commerce Street
Continue past Commerce Middle School
6. Ending at the Tiger Stop.
Please line the parade route with your signs (optional) to show your support and Tiger Pride for our graduating Seniors.

Parents and Guardians - 2020-2021 Course Requests are now available in PowerSchool for all 5th-11th grade students. Please assist us in getting your students course requests put in as soon as possible.
Don't let your student wait and miss out on the electives that fill up first.

Commerce Schools is reminding parents and students of our virtual office hours service. We're adjusting teacher open office hours this week. All teachers will be available every morning from 10am-Noon, for video conference and other times by appointment.
If you have a question or would like to speak with a teacher please use this available service. Your students have the link to every teacher in a document in their Google Drive. The Commerce Public School Storm Shelters “WILL” be opened in the event of an imminent threat, such as an issued call to shelter under a tornado/severe storm warning. While utilizing our shelters, existing CDC protocol for the COVID-19 pandemic should be exercised as possible.


Yearbooks are on sale for $35 until May 8. You can order online by going to yearbookforever.com or you can mail a check to the central office, 500 Commerce Street, and writing attention: yearbook on the envelope. Also, senior tribute ads can be purchased for $60 or $90 by contacting Mrs. Rhodes at srhodes@commercetigers.net.


Parents your students were emailed a list of zoom links for their teachers virtual office hours yesterday. All teachers will be available every morning from 9am-11am, for video conference and other times by appointment. High School teachers will also be available 1pm-3pm. If you have a question or would like to speak with a teacher please use this available service. Parents and Students - If you're participating in the zoom try out today, 4/4/2020, from 1:00-2:30 please go to the students school email to get the link. Zoom changed some security settings since my message yesterday and they now require passwords for meetings. The link I sent everyone in their email has the password included. Just click the link and you'll be directed to the meeting tryout.


Parents and Students - There will be one last zoom meeting trial window from 1:00-2:30 pm on Saturday, April 4th. If you have not tried your student Chromebook or home device and want to before Monday, please take advantage of this time. It is short, come and go, if you can see and hear me on Zoom when you arrive you're good to go for Monday. You can click around in zoom to become familiar with it and then leave. If you have issues we can work through them at that time. If you have issues and can't talk to me on zoom you can phone my cell at 918-541-0933.

Mental Health Resources

Coach Moss will be having virtual office hours from 1:30-2:30 today, April 1, 2020, in Zoom. This is for students to try out their chromebook or home device and make sure they're able to access their teachers using zoom next week. Please reboot your chromebook before trying.

The state of Oklahoma has released their state testing study guides. We have posted all of the study guides to our website here -

Alexander Elementary's Students of the Month for February are Daniel Ramirez and Jaylyn Alejandro. Daniel is in Mrs. Moore's second grade class and his parents are Jose "Reyes" Ramirez and Ciarra Millard. Jaylyn Alejandro is in Mrs. Earll's third grade class. Her parents are Clarissa and Angel Alejandro. Congratulations to both of these outstanding students!
